VapoBrain Ingredients Explained

Four named ingredients, what each is studied for, and the cautions you should know before ordering.

Bacopa monnieri

A creeping herb used in Ayurveda for generations. Trials in adults have looked at memory and attention, typically over 8 to 12 weeks, with inconsistent results. Common side effects are nausea and stomach cramps. Read what Bacopa research really shows.

Ginkgo biloba

One of the most studied herbal products for memory, yet large trials have not shown consistent benefit. Because it may affect clotting, people taking warfarin, aspirin or NSAIDs, or facing surgery, should ask a doctor first. See the NCCIH ginkgo summary and our Ginkgo guide.

Phosphatidylserine

A fat-like molecule found in cell membranes, including in the brain. Supplements have been studied in older adults with memory concerns. It is usually well tolerated, though high doses may disturb sleep or the stomach. See phosphatidylserine explained.

Huperzine A

Extracted from a club moss, Huperzine A blocks an enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine. Because of that action it can interact with donepezil-type drugs, anticholinergics and beta-blockers, and it is not for use during pregnancy or nursing. See Huperzine A benefits and risks.

Doses and who should check first

Without published doses you cannot tell whether the capsule matches amounts used in research. Read your bottle label and talk to a pharmacist, especially if you take medication. Our ingredient deep dive and the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements have more.
